Handsome Burger established itself with Galwegians through pop up events, at local markets and catering to private functions. The ethos of Handsome is like every good idea, very simple.
They bring local, seasonal and flavor together. Using Athenry butchers Bradys, Herterichs on Market Street in Galway City for their pork, with hand-cut and cooked in Donegal Rapeseed Oil fries are the finishing touch to any burger.
Handsome Burger the burger joint that has elevated the burger to a weekly must eat on Galway’s respected food scene. With their Brady’s beef patties, intelligent fresh sides that complement every bite, signature Handsome sauces and home-roasted fries bringing them the title of the best burger in Ireland 2019.
The difference is in the taste. The Handsome Burger is the main event, served with sticky onions, pickled cucumber, and a signature Handsome Sauce, the juicy 6oz Brady’s Beef patty is the best seller. Served on a freshly baked brioche bun, it’s easy to see why. The perfect balance of meat, cheese and the sauce that binds it all together.
Interestingly, the veggie Handsome is now a best seller, named the Bhaji, it’s a spinach and chickpea bhaji, tandoori onions, feta cheese, cucumber and mint raita, chilies and Handsome chutney all served in a brioche bun. But not forgetting the Petey Pablo, Brady’s beef patty, cecina chorizo from Sheridan’s, Irish cheddar, guacamole, roquito salsa and fiery paprika mayo.
The Handsome fries are triple fried in Rapeseed Oil, which allows them to have a fluffy interior and a beautiful crispy outer layer. To finish, the Handsome Fries are then tossed in sea salt and rosemary before being served as this or being loaded up with a wide range of Handsome trimmings.
“The Handsome loaded fries are one of our best sellers, Parmesan and Herterich’s Maple Bacon Loaded Fries, Fiery Cecina Pablo Chorizo, Fried Chillies, onions with a cool mint and garlic aioli, or Handsome Loaded Fries are triple fried, and served with chorizo, mixed vegetables and yoghurt.”
