Summer street closures back the west 2026- What you need to know?

Summer might be on the way and so is the return of our street closures, bringing more space, more atmosphere and more time to enjoy everything outdoors.

From the May Bank Holiday weekend the arrangements will be as follows.

 

All May street closures, with the exception of The Small Crane section which remains closed 24/7 as per previous years, will operate from 6pm Thursday to Sunday. Bank Holiday Monday will also be closed for pedestrianisation.

From 1st June street closures will operate seven evenings per week from 6pm.

This is about making space for people, supporting local businesses and letting the area come alive in the way it should in summer.
