At Dr. Clare’s Apothecary & Clinic, Dr. Dilis Clare, GP and Medical Herbalist, leads a team of compassionate therapists and healers who work together to help people live to their greatest health potential.

The ethos of the Apothecary is to integrate both pharmaceutical and herbal medicine. This model of collaborative & integrative medicine offers the best of both approaches. Following Medical School, Dr. Clare went on to do her GP training and entered general practice in North London.

Taking the opportunity to study for a BSc in Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University she qualified as a medical herbalist in 1999 and returned to Ireland to establish a Primary Health Care collaborative medicine clinic, known today as Dr. Clare’s Apothecary.

Through the herbal dispensary and shop they provide therapeutic quality herbal medicines. These are available from the clinic dispensary, online shop or by telephone order. Stocking a wide range of supplements, dried herbs, tinctures, capsules, pessaries, creams, they also provide online consultation about all their products.

Although herbal medicine is core to Dr. Clare’s training and expertise she also works with and highly values other complementary healthcare disciplines including Nutrition, Acupuncture, Psychotherapy & Counselling and a wide range of hands-on physical, energetic and spiritual treatments.
